Skye to Mull

All too soon it was time to leave the Isle of Skye and head south, to the Isle of Mull.

After an early morning dash across the island, we took Betty Bus on her first sea voyage, the ferry across to the mainland.  We were first on and praying that she’d start on the other side…

After our first successful sea voyage, we took the beautiful coastal road down to the most westerly point on the mainland, The Point of Ardnamurchan.

On the way we encountered the worst traffic of the trip yet.

We spent the afternoon at the lighthouse and exploring the rocks below.

The most westerly Westy!

Then finally another ferry across to Tobermory and our campsite just outside of town.

Not so worried about her starting this time.
